Ripple Energy is spearheading an ambitious project in the Scottish Borders to create the largest people-owned wind farm in the UK. Located at Whitelaw Brae near Tweedsmuir, this endeavor offers individuals the opportunity to collectively own turbines, democratizing access to renewable energy.

Expected to become operational by late 2026, the wind farm aims to supply renewable energy to more than 50,000 homes annually, generating approximately 145GWh per year.
